ORDERING AND PAYMENT
. When booking an apartment or room at Bimosegaard, the full amount is paid at the time of booking.
You will be sent a confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam and/or junk mail.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the information in the email confirmation is correct. If there are errors or omissions in the email confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after the booking has been made.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
We point out that booking apartments / rooms at Bimosegaard is not covered by the Consumer Contracts Act’s rules on the right of cancellation.
The sale of overnight accommodation/accommodation is covered by a special exception provision in section 18 subsection of the Consumer Contracts Act. 2 no. 12. The booking made is thus not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation.
CHANGES
Changes to the order can be made up to 30 days prior to the day of arrival. Changes cover a change in the number of people, a change in the date or a change of apartment / room (if possible). An administration fee of DKK 200 is added.
The time of the stay can only be changed to a date in the current season and any price difference will not be refunded.
CANCELLATION (WITHOUT PURCHASING CANCELLATION PROTECTION)
Cancellation of paid stays where cancellation protection has not been purchased does not result in any refund of the amount paid. We therefore recommend that you purchase cancellation protection.
Your booked stay cannot be resold or transferred to others.
THE CANCELLATION PROTECTION
The cancellation fee costs DKK 300 per booked unit and must be ordered at the same time as the stay.
After payment for the stay, the cancellation fee can no longer be added or cancelled.
The cancellation protection covers the full price of the stay, minus the price of the fee, upon cancellation of the tenancy in case the stay is made impossible or made significantly more difficult:
– As a result of you (the customer) or your spouse, cohabitant, children, parents, parents-in-law or children-in-law passing away, or being affected by an acute illness or serious injury that requires hospitalization, bed rest prescribed by a doctor, or the equivalent of it.
The cancellation protection covers until 12 PM the day prior to arrival. The amount is returned by sending documentation in the form of a medical certificate in case of illness, confirmation from a hospital or attending physician in case of injury or a copy of the front page of the death certificate in the event of death.
In case of cancellation, where there is no illness, injury or death, an additional non-refundable administration fee of DKK 500 (however the maximum price for the stay) is added.
The following applies:
- Up to 30 days prior to the day of arrival, the full amount will be refunded minus the price of the protection and the fee.
- Between 30 days and 14 days prior to the day of arrival, 50% of the full amount minus the price of the protection and the fee is refunded.
- Later than 14 days prior to the day of arrival, there is no refund.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
- Check-in after 3 PM
- Check-out before 10 AM
When you book, you will be assigned a door code. We do not have a reception, but you are always welcome to call (+45) 23 46 24 02 if you have any questions.
SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms/apartments and smoke alarms are installed in all rooms, which are activated by smoking. E-cigarettes and cigars etc. are strictly prohibited too. If this is violated, a cleaning fee of DKK 2,000 will be charged.
In general when smoking in outdoor areas, please show consideration for other guests and the risk of fire, and make sure to safely dispose of cigarette butts in a bin. Smoking is also prohibited in common indoor areas of the place.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUEST
The tenant of rooms/apartments is fully liable for the furniture in the rental unit.
Deficiencies and damages caused by the tenant are settled on the day of departure. The person who entered into the lease is also liable for damages caused by other guests in the rental unit. The apartments can only be occupied by the maximum number of people specified and accepted at the time of booking.
HYGIENE CONDITIONS, INCLUDING COVID-19 ETC.
Due to hygiene considerations and restrictions and any orders from the authorities, there may be facilities with limited access during the tenant’s stay. There may be areas that are temporarily closed or areas/facilities that will be closed for the duration of the stay. This does not allow for refunds for parts or all of your stay.
FORCE MEJEURE (superior force)
If the rental agreement is not possible to implement – or is made significantly more difficult – as a result of force majeure or conditions that can be equated with this, including but not limited to: War, riots, natural disasters, oil and petrol rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, suspension of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closures, traffic conditions, strike, lockout and the like, which could not be foreseen when the rental agreement was entered into, Bimosegaard is entitled to cancel the rental agreement as Bimosegaard cannot be held liable in the said case.
In such cases, Bimosegaard is obliged to notify the guest as soon as possible. The guest is not entitled to a refund of amounts paid. However, the tenant will receive a voucher for the amount paid. Vouchers are non-transferable.
